Highland Elementary ~ Home of the Hawks!

Hawks REACH their goals and SOAR for more!
Coming Up at Highland... Help Highland Make a Difference!

•January 27: Hat Day!
•January 30- February 10: Jeans Drive
Hat Day- Friday, January 27th
All students and staff that would like to participate can bring $1.00 to wear the hat of their choice throughout the day. As a way for Highland to make a difference in other areas of the world, all proceeds will go to help the South African Education and Environmental Project (SAEP).  This is an award-winning non-profit organization that aims to expand the horizons of, build the confidence of, and empower South African township children, youth, and education providers through academic mentorship, enrichment, and personal development programs. For more information on this program, click here.

• Jeans Drive

Student Council is asking all Highland families to donate gently used jeans throughout the weeks of January 30th-February 10th.  Please bring in gently used jeans of any size (infant and up), any brand, or color!  The jeans will be donated to our local homeless shelter.  Please help us support our community!
